The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has directed all Police Mobile Force (PMF) squadrons nationwide to maintain at least one fully equipped, combat-ready unit on constant standby, with immediate effect. Aviation workers unions have announced the commencement of an indefinite nationwide strike by workers of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) from Tuesday night over poor remuneration and unmet agreements with management.
