Nigeria has reported an annual increase in enrollment into nursing programmes by 310%, the Federal Government has announced. Specifically, it said nursing programmes witnessed a surge in yearly enrollment from 28,000 to 115,000. Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has indefinitely suspended the Emir of Daware, Hassan Ja’afaru. Ja’afaru, who previously served as the district head of Daware in Fufore Local Government Area, was found guilty of corruption, maladministration, breach of security, and other serious offences following an investigation.
