The Enugu State Police Command has rescued 21 kidnapped victims, killed one suspect, and arrested another in a series of operations conducted over the weekend. The operations also led to the recovery of a firearm, a vehicle, and other exhibits. In a statement released yesterday, the command’s spokesperson, Daniel Ndukwe, detailed the operations. Nigerians spent about $2.41m on foreign healthcare-related services from January to December 2024, findings by Saturday PUNCH have revealed. Compared to the $3.82m spent on medical tourism in 2023, there was a reduction of $1.41m in 2024. This represents a 36.91% decrease in the amount spent on medical tourism by Nigeria in the year under review.
