Armed kidnappers have abducted three members of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in Akure North Local Council, Ondo State.The victims were taken while returning from a Bible study session at the Kasemola axis of Ogbese in the council area. Sources revealed that the kidnappers ambushed the victims before attacking and whisking them into the bush. A 21-year-old Chidera Godwin Ako has been arrested by the Police in Enugu for allegedly faking his own kidnapping and defrauding his parents. Chidera, age 21, who went missing on May 4, was arrested with three other accomplices, namely Okechukwu Philip Chidalu(19 years); Ifeanyi Ugwu (20 years); and Ossai Chigozie (35 years ), recently released from the Nigerian Correctional Service custodial centre. Nine persons have been rescued from a building that collapsed in Ikorodu area of Lagos on Tuesday. The Guardian gathered that three people were trapped in the building as of the time of filing this report.
