The Police in Ondo State have confirmed three people dead over clashes between two rival cult groups in Ondo Town, Ondo East Local Government Area of the state. DSP Olushola Ayanlade, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Akure. The Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) has announced the commencement of campaign for the 2025 local council elections.
