The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control on Friday ruled out unconditional reopeoning of shops sealed during its raids on open drug markets. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 78 individuals suspected of involvement in internet-related fraud across Nasarawa, Abia, and Kano states. The commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrests in a statement issued Friday in Abuja. According to him, 43 of the suspects were apprehended in Toto, Nasarawa State on Friday following intelligence that linked them to online fraudulent activities. “Items recovered from them include five motorcycles, 64 mobile phones, four laptop computers, and an iPad,” he said.
