Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed how Samuel Chukwueze can get back to his best after a thrilling performance against Tottenham Hotspur last month, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old has been slowly picking himself up after two poor campaigns at AC Milan. Chukwueze came off the bench to provide the assist for Raul Jimenez’s winner against Sunderland last week.
Four minutes into the clash against Spurs at the London Stadium, he provided the pass that led to Kenny Tete’s opener.
He could’ve scored, but two of his goal-scoring attempts were denied, one by the woodwork, and the other by Micky Van de Ven’s last-ditch tackle after he’d gone round Gugliemo Vicario.

Iwobi reveals how Chukwueze can become a better player
Fulham have now won back-to-back games in the league for the first time this season, and Iwobi credited his teammates for their fighting spirit.
“We have a nice brotherhood in the team. Everyone motivates each other, and everyone fights for each other. The chemistry is good right now,” the former Arsenal man said in quotes relayed by Fulham Correspondent Jack Kelly.
“It’s a London derby, and hopefully this will kick-start us to go on ahead in the table.
“We knew it was going to be difficult facing Tottenham. It was good to have a strong start. We wanted to get our first away win & that was the motivation today.

Chukwueze’s performance also impressed the 91-cap Super Eagles midfielder, and he urged the winger to be more consistent to be a better player.
“He is energetic on & off the pitch. We are happy to have him,” Iwobi said about Chukwueze.
“You can see the magic he does on the field. He is a great addition to the club. We want to give him the confidence.
“Chukwu-magic – that’s his nickname in the training field. He is able to do it in training and in matches. He just needs to stay consistent,” the former Everton midfielder concluded.

Fulham’s victory against Tottenham away from Craven Cottage tonight is their first away win against the reigning UEFA Europa League winners since 2013.
The Cottagers are now 15th in the English Premier League with 17 points from 13 games, and they’re slowly getting into good form after a poor start to the 2025/2026 campaign. Up next for Marco Silva’s side is a clash against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
