Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare scored his first goal for Wolves in their 2-0 victory over Everton in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Arokodare started from the bench for Wolves when they welcomed Everton to the Molineux for their round of 32 EFL Cup clash.
Recall that the Super Eagles star moved to England from Belgian club Genk, but he failed to find the net in his previous two games. However, he finally made his mark against Everton.

Munetsi scored the opener for Wolves in the 29th minute. And despite a serious push from David Moyes’ side, Wolves held on to their lead.
Arokodare was introduced into the game for coach Vitor Pereira’s side in the 68th minute, and he scored the goal that put the game to bed 20 minutes later, courtesy of an assist from Joao Gomes.

Samuel Chukwueze Makes Fulham Debut In EFL Cup Win Over Cambridge United
Fulham welcome League Two club Cambridge United to Craven Cottage in their own EFL Cup clash. But Samuel Chukwueze started from the bench, alongside compatriot Calvin Bassey, while Alex Iwobi was given a rest.

It was a dismal performance by the Cottagers in the first half, as they struggled to break down a club three divisions below them.
Nonetheless, former Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe bailed out Fulham with a goal in the 66th minute.
Chukwueze, who was introduced into the game in the game in the 60th minute, did not look sharp enough, and did not do offer much to Fulham in the final third.
The Cottagers just managed to see out the 1- 0 victory, despite a late onslaught from Cambridge United. Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Chukwueze will be hoping that their Fulham side goes far in the competition.
