Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers scored for Panathinaikos, but his goal was canceled by a late Olympiakos goal, as both teams settled for a 1-1 draw at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.
After opening his Panathinaikos account in midweek, Dessers returned to action for his club in their big Greek Derby against league champions Olympiakos, in Athens.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi only made the bench for Olympiakos.

The two clubs are two of the biggest in Greece, so it was expected to be a tough encounter.
The first half was really tight, with both teams struggling to create chances. However, the game sprung into life in the second half.
Dessers set the tone with a goal just three minutes after the restart, as he latched onto a pass from Anastasios Bakasetas and finished with aplomb to make it 1-0.
After Panathinaikos scored, Olympiakos took charge of the game. But it was a tough task for them to break through.

It looked like the 2010 Greek Super League champions were going to run away with the victory. But their hearts were broken at the death, as Ayoub El Kaabi scored in stoppage time to ensure it ended 1-1.

Two In Two: Cyriel Dessers Is Cooking In Greece
When Panathinaikos signed Cyriel Dessers from Rangers, they got a player who has loads of experience and an innate ability to find the net with ease.

Dessers scored goals in Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and of course, Scotland. So he is tested and trusted.
The 30-year-old striker has already scored two goals in two starts for Panathinaikos. And for sure, there is more to come.
Dessers will look to help the club secure a good placement in the Greek Super League at the end of the season.
