The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Francis Nwifuru, on Youth Mobilisation and Development, Comrade Chinedu Emerike, on Tuesday said that they are not afraid of any coalition ahead of the 2027 general election, maintaining that Governor Nwifuru’s visible grassroots development has earned him the people’s mandate beyond doubt.
In a chat with journalists in Abakaliki, Comrade Emerike observed that every ward in this state bears his footprint. He stated that they are not afraid of any coalition, claiming that they are simply waiting for them but should understand there is no room in the Ebonyi Government House.
He further mentioned that Ebonyi youths have openly declared their unwavering readiness to oppose any opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 general election. He noted that youths across the 13 local government areas remain firmly committed to Nwifuru’s administration because of its remarkable transformation across Ebonyi communities.
According to him, every ward in the state bears the governor’s “signature projects,” making Ebonyi a model of inclusive governance.
Comrade Emerike, who is also the National President of the FON Youth Movement, urged young people to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise, emphasising that voter registration is the only gateway to maintaining good governance.
“INEC is ready. Our duty is to mobilise our people to register. This government has given us employment, infrastructure, and empowerment, so the least we can do is to secure the future by registering and voting,” he said.
He maintained that Ebonyi youths will continue to rally around Governor Nwifuru, describing the opposition coalition as “a paper tiger” that cannot withstand the governor’s performance-driven leadership.
“This governor is not the type that makes empty promises. He is working. If you go to any community, you will see his projects”.
“Every ward in this state has his footprint. We are not afraid of any coalition. We are waiting for them, and we tell them they are welcome, but they should know there is no space in the Ebonyi Government House,” he said.
